History
The first restaurant of HuHot opened in Missoula, MT in 1999 founded by the Vap family. The family leveraged on their experience as franchisee of Godfather’s Pizza and used what they learn with the help of a fellow restaurateur who helped developed the concept. A few years after its opening, the first franchise opened its location in Omaha, NE in 2002.
What They’re Famous For
HuHot is famous for its 6-foot grill placed in the middle of the restaurant. With its unique create-you-own dining style, customers fill their bowls with their preferred ingredients from the long line of noodles, meats, fresh vegetables and especially the sauces. Their popular dessert is the create-your-own S’mores.
