History
Shane and Stacey Thompson founded Shane’s Rib Shack in 2002. Their first location was, indeed, an old roadside shack in McDonough, Georgia thus the name. From the start, the now-famous barbecue sauce recipe Shane inherited from his grandfather was featured.
By January 2016, there were 74 Shane’s Rib Shack locations in several states including Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, and North Carolina.
