History
Stuart Anderson opened the first Black Angus restaurant in 1964. By 2001, the chain had around 103 restaurants in 13 states but by 2004, signs of concern started emerging, which led to the decrease in restaurant chains to from 103 to 93 in 2004. They declared bankruptcy of the parent company in January 2009. By March 2009, the Versa Capital Management purchased the Restaurant and started managing it to its present state of 45 locations, and most of which are located in California.
What are they famous for?
The Black Angus restaurant is known for their succulent juicy, and absolutely tender Black Angus steaks. The beef is aged a minimum of 24 days to ensure the depth of the flavor, the succulent quality and the tenderness of bite in the meat. The meat is cut by hand to ensure that they get the freshest and tastiest portions of the meat before they put it on the griller over an open flame. The steaks are cooked and brushed with butter for extra richness.
No matter what choice of steak that you select of their menu, you can never go wrong because everything has richness and a maintained flavor. While your at it, you should also take a look at the variety of seafood they have on their menu that is just as appetizing as the steak. The menu of seafood includes fried shrimp, lobster tails, grilled prawns, along with some salmon, chicken and salad dishes.
