History
Dave Anderson, a proud Ojibwe tribe member who led the Bureau of Indian Affairs (2004-2005), opened the first Famous Dave’s Bar-B-Que restaurant in Hayward, Wisconsin in 1994. The company has so far remained as a privately-held company.
