History
The first Logan’s Roadhouse restaurant opened in Lexington, Kentucky in 1991. Being a newcomer in the industry, it was not hampered by its competitions but grew to be one of the most popular and fast-growing restaurants of the South. By 1991, it became a subsidiary of the CBRL Group which owned the famous Cracker Barrel chain. The company went through different ownerships and finally in 2010, it got acquired by Kelso and Company which then moved its headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee. There are more than 250 store locations across 23 states and more to open soon.
What They’re Famous For
The restaurant is known for serving high-grade steaks. Sizes vary among the classic cut which they call as The Logan, the New York Strip Steak, the Black Angus Sirloin and the large Porterhouse Steak. Some other famous menu items are the Country Fried Steak, the mesquite-grilled pork chops, Teriyaki grilled chicken and the Coastal Carolina Shrimp.
