History

Felix Stehling opened the first Taco Cabana restaurant in September 1978 in Midtown San Antonio, Texas. The chain had humble beginnings as a taco stand, which eventually evolved into the current patio concept with around-the-clock hours. Then and now, its focus has always been on providing diners with fresh food – no pre-prepared and pre-packaged foods – thus its continued popularity despite the stiff competition.

In 1992, Taco Cabana became a publicly-traded corporation. By 2001, however, the company once again became a privately-held organization when it was purchased by Carrols Restaurant Group.

Why Choose It for Your Catering Needs

Be prepared to pay slightly higher Taco Cabana catering prices in comparison with other Mexican-inspired restaurant chains. Lest you become discouraged, you shouldn’t be since you are getting a better value for your money, thanks to the on-time delivery, on-point services, and oh-so-flavorful dishes that exemplify the Flavors of Mexico in a bite.

You can book the Taco Cabana’s catering services for both small get-togethers and large celebrations in indoor and outdoor venues. Think of the Fourth of July, birthdays, anniversaries, and reunions as well as sports events, tailgating, and picnics, perhaps even camping.

You can take it easy since the Taco Cabana staff will take care of all the nitty-gritty details including the food preparation, set-up in your choice of venue, and cooking on site. You and your guests will love it that the made-from-scratch juicy briskets, chicken fajitas, and steaks will be served warm from the grill or oven, along with your choice of freshly-made sides and salsas. You can also discuss your catering needs on site with the catering staff, all of whom are trained to deliver satisfactory services within reasonable terms.

Taco Cabana makes it easy to order in bulk, too – on the website, just choose your location, meal, and add to your cart followed by choosing your mode of payment. You can expect the deliveries to be made within 24 hours or within the agreed time with the exception of the rotisserie chicken delivered only between 10 A.M. and 10 P.M. You should ask the catering supervisor for more details, too.
