HISTORY
The first Abuelo’s restaurant was operated in Texas by Dirk Rambo, Chuck Anderson, and James Young in 1989. The primary goal was to serve Mexican food and drinks in a Mexican setting with American efficiency. At present, the chain has 38 restaurants located in 13 states throughout Unites States. More restaurants might open in the near future as planned.
