History
In 1977, Jack Fulk and Richard Thomas founded Bojangles’ Famous Chicken ‘n Biscuits. Their goal: Establish a quick-service restaurant chain with three attributes, namely, a distinctive flavor profile, a fun and festive restaurant with fast and friendly service, and wholesome food made from scratch. Judging from its success, the co-founders realized their goal.
In 1981, however, Jack Fulk sold the concept to The Horn & Hardart Company, a now-defunct company. In April 2015, Bojangles filed for its initial public offering for its common shares.
