History

Brothers-in-law Burt Baskin and Irv Robbins both owned ice cream parlors. They merged these parlors into one in 1945 to start the largest chain of ice cream specialty restaurants. There are over 7,300 locations all over the world with 2,500 of those in United States alone. Currently, they sell ice cream in over 50 countries.
