History

Bruce Reed founded Bruster’s in 1989. Bruce got his start in the ice cream business in the 1950’s in a small town in Bridgewater, Pennsylvania located 27 miles northwest of Pittsburgh, where he helped out his parents at their diner called, Jerry’s Curb Service. In 1989 is where he decided to open his own naming it Bruster’s .
