History

Cold Stone Creamery was co founded by Donald and Susan Sutherlan in 1988. They wanted their ice cream to be neither soft serve nor hard packed. Publicity materials describe their ice cream as smooth and creamy. Their head office is located in Scottsdale, Arizona. 

What are they famous for?  

Aside from being known for their famous ice cream flavors, you should take a look at some of the other items on their menu that are just as tasty:

• Ice Cream Cake – if you have a friend that is going to celebrate their birthday anytime soon, you can shoot two birds with one stone by buying the ice cream cake.
