History
The Fire Mountain Buffet restaurants are owned by Ovation Brands, Inc., a privately-held company based in Hollywood Park, Texas. Ovation Brands itself is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Food Management Partners, Inc.
Roe Hatlen and Dennis Scott, among others, established Buffets Inc. in October 1983. Buffets, Inc. is the predecessor of Ovation Brands, which currently owns several restaurant brands.
