History
J. Alexander’s Holdings, Inc. was founded by three businessmen from Nashville, Jack C. Massey, Earl Beasley, Jr. and John Neff, Jr. Its first restaurant opened in Nashville, Tennessee in 1991. It plans to expand to a national scope, particularly to metropolitan areas where there are more than 1.5 million in population. By 2012, J. Alexander’s was acquired by Fidelity National Financial.
