History

In August 2007, Nicolas Jammet, Nathaniel Ru, and Jonathan Neman founded Sweetgreen just three months after their graduation from Georgetown University. By October 2016, the chain has more than 60 restaurants in California, Massachusetts, and Maryland, among other areas.

Every restaurant in the chain is known for its simple and healthy food, which are made of the best seasonal ingredients from fruits and vegetables to the meats. Most of them also offer catering services that bring their delicious fare to offices, home and schools, among other places.
